Subject Description | : | AE102 will teach students advanced Equalization,Compression, and other effects. Students will be mixing songs in a studio setting with live instrumentation using a digital console. Students will learn microphone placement and advanced headphone mixing techniques while recording live in Studio A. Students will also learn how to mic acoustic guitars, guitar amps, bass, percussion and several other live instruments. Students will be tested on ear training during sessions. AE102 places an emphasis on dealing with client needs. Student will gain experience in this area by working live with vocalists and drummers. In this course, students are asked to work with AIT in-house artists on specific songs.Student will start to create an example “reel” of their work. |
