Subject Description | : | MB101 teaches students the basics of the music business, including the origin of the music industry, its basic structure, and the difference in its current method of operation from the past. Students will learn the basics of contracts, contract negotiation, and the flow of income in the music business. Students will be introduced to a variety of contracts currently used in the business, with access to AIT artist contracts. Students will observe and participate in the daily business of the in-house record company owned by the school’s director, Chris Lieck. |
