Record Ink.
Record Ink. is the newest record label started by Chris Lieck. Many of the new artists signed to the label are currently working with students who have learned all their techniques from Lieck.
Record Ink. artists work with AIT students, offering them hands-on experience during sessions.
Chris Lieck Studios
Chris Lieck has been in the audio recording business since 1985. Chris first owned one of the most historic recording studios in Hollywood, Music Box Recording (Studio Atlantis), and worked with some of the biggest stars in the history of the music business.
He then started the famous Tejas Records studio and Melody Ranch Recording that produced more than 200 hit singles in Latin, Pop, Rock, and Country, as well as 21 Grammy Nominations, 2 Grammys, the 3M Visionary Award for Excellence in Recording, Billboard Awards and countless others.
In 2008, Chris built a new building from the ground up with the latest construction and design techniques. Cutting-edge sound design using live compressed walls and unique flooring created what is now considered the “place to record” in Texas.
COMIA
COMIA is a 15-year-old Audio Production training institute owned by Lieck. While AIT and COMIA are similar, there are a few key differences between the two programs.
COMIA is very limited and is a pay-up-front set of classes with less time allocated to the student, although some classes offer one-on-one training.
Furthermore, COMIA does not accept payments or payment plans.
San Antonio Voice
San Antonio Voice is a vocal school founded by Lieck. The program teaches the very best in vocal techniques, using advanced technology to ensure that the program is working well and quickly.
Like Record Ink, SA Voice provides AIT students access to real-life artists recording in real-time. SA Voice students often work alongside AIT students to record and produce.
